Dear One -
Back home again and it certainly is a thrill. Have seen almost everyone in town since I came, cause I just have a feeling I won't want to stay very long. I'm getting homesick already. Imagine! I have been with Ellen Nielsen, the girl who came down to conference last June.
We're been on the run every minute.
The Spring is gorgeous up here dandelions, crocuses etc are coming out - and the birds are simply well just as melodious as they used to be.
I worked at the store the last 2 days even tho 'Bill is still here. He will leave within a week I guess.
Tomorrow night we are going to get a crowd and go to the river bottom (thats what we term us to come up and see them sometime. I made the promise.
Everyone is getting ready for Easter here, planning outings etc. the schools have 10 days holiday & the stores Easter Monday.
Guess the store force will go rabbit hunting, or playing soft-ball, or horseback riding or one of a dozen things.
Gee I wish you were here to chase around with me.
All the kids here are so anxious to see you they won't give me any rest from answering questions & showing them pictures. I'm glad most of these pictures they saw they'd run me a close race for your love. I do like your location.
How's your job? like your location? Cypros and who is housekeeping? Who is your companion?
Didn't get to see your folks before I left but will write to them soon. Guess they will be surprised.
Say promise me you will write regularly, notice the delay in my 3 day, weekly, letters. Do you know that today.
Don't know your permanent address so will wait for your next card for a week or two.
Devotedly,
Dorothy

office whom I had to bother so much when we made changes in our ads.
They know me less I think I've just been away to school & have come back to live. Guess others wonder why I'm not married.
Most of the girls in my crowd are married now but none of the fellows I went with. Bill, Mike & Bostwick. Leave them free, white and handsome.
Well I say nothing more about fellows you'll spoil me but then I want to tell you everything. Bob & Howard have been calling me up - but yet I will not be off pedal thereby be idle talk from those who know of you. Don't worry I'll be as good as I used to be and that word is all you could ask isn't it?
While in Cradock I had a wonderful visit with Bertha & Ernest. They are as happy a couple as I've ever seen and they want the ravine in the coulees where the river lies) and have a picnic, taking our guitars etc.
Boy for romantic moons up here.
I go out with any fellow (well I can't quite help being at times I guess) I'll just have to pass him up for thinking of you. Bill has surely treated me royally. He's not greatly romantic tho I think he tries to be. (He's one artist without a passionate soul - that shows on the outside at least).
Mike is in gents' men's clothing at Lees and my office is just above in a little windowed off balcony & I can look across the whole side of the lower floor. Most of the former employees have now left but the same good natured boss - and the same top setter at the 'Herald'
