Dear Folks-

Now sit down in a comfortable chair and relax before you rush into this special sun-eve news bulletin. 'Tisn't very often I can send a letter of this import so take time to assimilate it all.

You now have a son-in-law, as well as a son, in the bishopric. Tonite Ellsworth was sustained as a counselor to the bishop in our ward and I was very proud of the response and testimony he gave.

It seems that now, in our little family this isn't a blessing we could ask for, with this new confidence placed in the head of our home.

The Bishop and Stake President paid high tribute to his consistent work in the ward + stake and also to this ancestors. as religious men. The stake pres. recalled his meeting in the home of Ellsworth's great grandfather in Farmington as a ward teacher. In passing he also dropped a suggestion about the blue blood in my ancestry so I have to keep stepping higher now, as well.

We can't believe that we have earned all the blessings that have come our way but from the past I've learned that we're often payed paid in advance and must work to earn our blessings after receiving them. At least we have every incentive to live to the best of our ability and I know we can do it with the aid faith and humility.

P.S.

Was surely surprised to see receive the fancy sewing mother has been doing for her little grandgirls. It is surely a lovely outfit and will be useful for many years yet for both each girl in turn. Thanks from me and the girls both.
