Mesa

We arrived in Mesa via Phoenix on Wed. night Spent Thurs. Dec 20th 1928 with Grandma Smith, also saw Palmer cousins. 

Weather mild – cold nights

From Mesa we journeyed north with good weather prevailing despite slight snow in Flagstaff mountains + Prescott. Took Grandma north to spend Xmas at the Smith home - mine + father's birthplace.

Arrived in Joseph City mother's home town on Dec. 23rd. where we attended S.S. the following day. Xmas program
