Who knew teaching cows to foxtrot was a thing? Written on back: "Alice Briggs (left) prizewinning cowgirls who train cows to foxtrot. Draw cow dancing or standing in similar pose."
Caption written by Dorothy Smith Clark, who not only knew the girls but planned to draw a dancing cow to complete the image.
A quick search on FamilySearch reveals that Alice Briggs was born in Magrath, Alberta in 1914, and was presumably an acquaintance of our grandmother Dorothy Smith.
Both girls--arm in arm--are wearing coveralls and hats; their right legs are crossed over the left, with outside arms on their waists.  A large barn is the in the background, and snow is on the ground.
