Record of my experiences and adventures during my visit south which began November 24, 1928 and ended May 5th 1929. The Outline of my travels is as follows:

      We travelled thru the Canadian Rockies stopping for the first time at any length at Portland, Oregon.  There I remet my friend Gertrude Rygg, previously of Lethbridge also her cousins Gladys, Alice and ? Rygg.

     We had Thanksgiving dinner with Lewis and ? Rygg and family the day after our arrival, November 29, 1928.

      During the week I attended about four theatres- "Portland" twice with boys.  I met two brothers of Gertrude's boyfriend, Wally Steckler who were Melvin and James Steckler.
